Photos look like they were taken at "Any Mall USA". I just looked up their prices on the Shore website. Chances are they won't be offering cheaper clothes at DS lol. I guess after I go buy my $10 bar of soap at Basin, I'll swing by Shore and get a $70 t-shirt haha. Yeah right. If I were a millionaire, I still don't think I could bring myself to pay that kind of money for things.
Plenty of people who are everyday people that work part-time jobs buy shirts that cost that much. It's clearly not something you care for, but there's a huge audience for it - both men and women.Photos look like they were taken at "Any Mall USA". If you have to think about spending $70 on a t-shirt, chances are you aren't the audience they're aiming for anyway.

Value is subjective.So y'all think $70 for a t-shirt is a good deal or a good value?
If it is made of of the exact same material, and basically the same design you are an idiot to spend that kind of money on a tee, unless you have all the money in the world. Now if it is higher quality, or something unique that's a bit different, but still a bit silly.Value is subjective.
The brand of the shirt holds no value to you. It may hold value to others. Therefore it is a subjective determination. If it is made of of the exact same material, and basically the same design you are an idiot to spend that kind of money on a tee. unless you have all the money in the world.

What matters to me is the quality of how the shirt was made. If it's of high quality, then i'm willing to pay higher prices for it (even with my low-paying job a Uni Orlando). Isn't that how most things work? If the quality is better, you pay more?So y'all think $70 for a t-shirt is a good deal or a good value?
ExactlyValue is subjective.
Value and financial responsibility are two different things. I see the value in a $5000 gaming computer and it would be financially irresponsible for me to buy one.True, but common sense should work here as well. If it is unique like a louis Vuitton bag, then yes once in a blue moon, but for an average person to spend way more than you should routinely that is not a good habit. And Especially for tee shirts as they are basically the same all around, and again unless it has something different that is better than the rest you are just getting ripped off, unless it is of higher quality or you like the style more, by for a tee shirt which are all basically the same style more so than any other clothing item, why would you spend the money on that if it is basically an exact copy. It's opinion based I know, but that is just silly when you can get multiple equal quality tee shirts for the same price. It is kind of how sales work. They're super overpriced until they are marked down. They play games trying to get people to spend the most money possible, and make people think they're getting a good deal when it is on sale, when all you have to do is compare it to an equal quality brand. I can't remember what store this was but they had 500 dollar sun dresses, when another store had the exact same one for 40 bucks. That's all I am saying shop smart.
I think it also depends what point you're at in your life. Those expensive T-shirts that many may not see the worth in are - believe it or not - mainly marketed to the college crowd.Value and financial responsibility are two different things. I see the value in a $5000 gaming computer and it would be financially irresponsible for me to buy one.
You can post about this as much as you want, but you're arguing an opinion without a right answer.
You're right on that it is still my opinion, but I have a hard time not believing that if it is the same quality then it is silly to buy a product for many dollars more. I don't know if it is of higher quality, but still it perplexes me to know that many people that financially shouldn't buy it do so anyway with little to no gain.Value and financial responsibility are two different things.
