A total overhaul of Futureworld would be nice.
I couldn't agree more. Add to that the rumored $350 million allocated to the park, and my fingers were crossed for an obscure tease of something just to get fans excited. They barely hyped up Frozen Ever After or the Soarin renovation, either. Overall, I was hoping for a surprise- any surprise- for Epcot.

I voted for WOL. The place sits empty most of the time aside from F&W and F&G festivals. Had they spent some money there years ago to upgrade the old attractions, it would have spread crowds out more, which would have meant lower waits for Soarin & Test Track. Also I think we can all agree that an update to the Energy pavilion is beyond overdue. At least update the pre-show video for crying out loud.

The Imagination pavilion needs updated as well of course. Whether or not the Dreamfinder comes back I don't think matters (although I would prefer it) but at least update the ride. Another thing that would be good is to open the 2nd level back up and put a Figment themed Sum of All Thrills type attraction up there. It requires imagination to create your own roller coaster, so this would fit in well with the Imagination pavilion. Wouldn't cost much money and being able to divert crowds upstairs for this attraction would also spread crowds around.

I voted for Imagination Pavilion but really I'd like to see a lot of these.

WDW could really benefit from updated monorails. They are operating on a fleet of 12 Mark VI trains that are nearly 3 decades old.
Disneyland was operating with their Mark V trains from 1987 (the same time WDW got the Mark VI) through 2008, when they upgraded to the Mark VII. That means WDW has been operating on its fleet 7 years longer than Disneyland, despite having a MUCH busier fleet. It's beyond time for an upgrade.

I also wish we got a glimpse at the Frontierland expansion, but honestly they were pretty parks-upgrade heavy this year so I'm not too bummed out about that.

I voted for Carsland but only if it was full blown with Radiator Springs and the rock work. Rides, exact replica of RSR but different secondary attractions to give the land a little different flavor, although Maters is really fun!!

Name for DHS - Who cares.
Water Parks - Meh.
Monorails - Love em but they do what they need to just fine.
I love Illuminations - and I wouldn't be opposed to a new version, but it isnt needed.
Everything else essentially would replace currently running attractions except Wonders of Life.

Its time to bulldoze that aging eyesore (bad show, Disney!) and put something new there. I suspect Epcot is next in line for some changes, given that the other 3 have already or are now planned to get some love. Looking forward to it!

Avatar replaced by Pride Lands, a kickbutt Villains Dark ride in the Magic Kingdom (where the Enchanted Forest segues into the Haunted Forest), a Pirates-themed eatery that looks like the Black Pearl, a Frozen area with a full-sized Ice Palace where it snows every now and then, a Mary Poppins area called Cherry Tree Lane with a dark ride and Uncle Albert's Tea Room and Admiral Boom's restaurant, and a dark ride in DHS which highlights the greatest of the Disney films.

I love your idea on Mary Poppins! I actually think that would fit in so well in the UK in Epcot as well, giving it a good update. All your ideas are awesome though! Much better than Avatar land!

I feel like this may be beating a dead horse, but why have they not updated EO?!? I'm so sick of that being there, it's truly disgusting and I doubt Walt would have kept it after all the scandal around Jackson! It just really upsets me that it has stayed as long as it has in its return. I mean, how hard is it to create a new movie to fill the space while you wait for your overhaul?!? So frustrating.

I think we deserved an inside look into DHS future. I remember Disney not being shy when it came to revealing the overhaul of DCA. I'm also wondering if there's going to be any distinctive differences between WDW and Disneyland's versions of Star Wars Land. They displayed the same concept art to represent both resorts, very vivid pieces of art I might add too. Let's see how it turns out... 7 years from now.

When we went to DW in January (a low season time mind you), they had multiple issues with the monorails and actually didn't even run them one night! They definitely need a huge upgrade, we were stuck on one at the end of the night for 45 minutes and there were people who were waiting even longer that that. It was very very poor form for Disney, especially since my children all wanted to ride it more!

I wish you could set up a poll where you can pick your top 3 items & rank them and rank them in order of importance.
There were a lot of items on that poll... but I guess its clear where the interest is, based on the results so far.

One item that wasn't on the poll, and I know its beating a dead horse, is an announcement that the Yeti will be repaired and restored to its original glory.
Still praying that once Pandora & RoL are online, the Yeti will get long overdue attention.

So here are my Top 3 items from the poll:
1: Imagination Pavilion - (This includes something new for the Captain EO theater)
2: Monorail update - New fleet that is more efficient and easier to maintain. and automated.
3: WOL - I don't know what to put in here... but it needs some fresh thinking. But I question whether it is even visible enough to get foot traffic? Its kinda in a secluded place that unless you look on the map, you really don't see it from the central hub.

Cars land.... don't even go there. I don't want it on the east coast. Why? Well let's see... Radiator Springs was set in the western part of the country, so Anaheim is a perfect place for it. I'm also tired of seeing replicated items on both coasts. Don't get me wrong... I loved it when I went to Calif a couple years ago, but please leave it there and put something unique in Florida. I also don't want have one more thing to compare between Anaheim and LBV. Aside from Luigi's tires, they got everything right with that land. So please don't bring it to FL and make a cheap copy.

http://www.wdwmagic.com/other/d23/n...u-like-to-have-seen-announced-at-d23-expo.htm

The 2015 D23 EXPO was a huge event for Walt Disney World, with major announcements made for Walt Disney World, including both Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land.

But what was missing?

What's missing?

I couldn't vote for all of them. Each one is easily needed and long overdue.

Too bad Disney couldn't decide to show some love for WDW and actually make some serious investment rather than playing around the edges.
