90 days to get Silver Pass?

Can a current CM help me out with this? My Disney benefits information says I don't get a silver pass until I've completed 90 days of employment... Is this accurate? I think my mind will explode if I'm working AT Walt Disney World but I can't ride Splash Mountain for three months.

You use your CM ID to enter the parks, the silver pass is for bringing guests in. As soon as you complete Traditions and get your ID you'll be able to visit the parks.

You'll probably make friends with other CM's pretty quickly, it's always pretty easy to find someone who's up for going to the parks after work or on their day off.

I'll be married. If I were going to WDW with friends from work (and not my wife) I'll be a dead man walking lol.

It usually takes around 2 weeks. At least that's how long it took mine.

Also, it's a blue main gate... Unless you're a manager/corporate. Then it's silver. :)

Cheers! I don't start until Aug 1 but I'm really excited. Just can't seem to get a clear answer on how the silver pass and everything else works.

It will be 90 days after you start...really no way around it. Until that time you can get yourself into the parks but no one else. You are also going to have missed the 2 free tickets for the summer by August 1st, so you won't be getting the next set of free passes until December.
