My mom (Disneybird) and I have been planning our upcoming trip since the beginning of the year. There will be 8 of us going on this trip. We finally reached our 90 day mark! We are going to have many things to celebrate on this trip: 1) this is my fiance's first trip to WDW, 2) this will also be my nephew's first trip, and he will turn 3 a week before we go, and 3) my parents will be celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary while we are there. :sohappy:

Our dates are January 1-10. We are staying at Pop Jan 1-2 and at the Poly for the rest of our trip. I let my fiance decide where we are going to eat with the exception of two restaurants. I will put the restaurants in bold that we are going to do as a group.

1/2 California Grill
1/3 Coral Reef
1/4 Le Cellier
1/5 Boma
1/6 Chef Mickey's
1/7 Chefs de France
1/8 Narcossee's

I have been to all of these except for Narcossee's and Coral Reef. Coral Reef is the only one that I am a little nervous about since the reviews that I have seen go either way. Thoughts? Encouragements? Regardless, I plan on trying to make this the most magical trip for us yet.

I have eaten at Coral Reef twice. The New York Strip is very good. I also enjoyed the Mahi. I absolutely hated the lobster ravioli. It was served in a red sauce that was terrible. I just ate at Le Cellier last week and it was AMAZING!

Thanks for the head's up about the lobster ravioli. I might try the Mahi Mahi. I thought the description of it sounded good. I am really excited to go back to Le Cellier. I haven't been there in several years. As much as I hope that our dinner at Coral Reef will live up to our expectations, there is a reason that I put that reservation for the second day of the trip.

we ate at the coral reef for our christmas dinner this past year. the seasonal catch with the risotto and the mahi mahi were really good. i've eaten at narcoossee's twice and already have reservations there for our next trip. we've had the ahi tuna, steak, halibut, and scallops...they were all good. the blue glow tinis don't hurt either lol.

I'm really looking forward to Narcossee's. I have read so many great things about it. If we decided to add the dining plan on to our reservations I am going to order the surf & turf. If not, the tuna is at the top of my list.

I have have had Coral Reef a few times. First off, I loved the Mahi Mahi....it was yummy to me. Second, when we go, we have enjoyed the whole atmosphere, and watching the fish and all. To us, that is what makes the place!

Haven't eaten at the other but BIL has and loved it....

Enjoy regardless!

PS- The fact that 2010 will be here in less than 90 days is scaring me a little bit.

As soon as I told my fiance that you were able to see the fish while eating he was sold!

PS - it scares me too because it means that Christmas is rapidly approaching!

Thanks for all of the positive reviews, everyone! They are definitely making me look forward to our reservation.
