That is about normal. The flying time from Manchester to Orlando International is around 9 hours, and the return leg is around 8 hours (due to the Jet stream effect).

7 hours would get you into the New York/Boston/Toronto airpots, but not Orlando.

there was a long delay on runway before lift off plane must have missed slot and 11/2 hour sat on runway prior to take off. didnt get into sanford till 1am rather that 11pm GMT that it was due.

insulin carried on plane and no problems going through security at manchester and through US

still not allowed fluids on plane but can purchase when airbourn.

Re. Dyslexia - don't worry you are not the only one on here. Some have mastered this difficulty more so than others, or quicker than others.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people on boards who do not have dyslexia, but are plain lazy with their written English and it's tricky to tell the two apart. Just a suggestion, but you may think about making mention of it in your signature. "Disney Dyslexic" or something like that?

Any hue, stick around and enjoy the forums

As for the travel time - Nine hours UK to Florida sound right to me. Though in days gone by when the charter airlines used DC10s they would stop to refuel, thus adding a couple of hours to the journey.
