No weather expert here, but from my understanding the more immediate tornado threat has moved from the Disney area and more to the location of SeaWorld. Either way everyone should stay aware, lots of residential areas in the vicinity.

I work east of Sea World and it's BAD. I told my guys to close the warehouse doors and hang out for a bit. Being at Disney right now seems like a nightmare.

The immediate threat has moved away from the Walt Disney World resort area, but it's currently the major threat for Universal Studios Orlando, gator land and Sea world Orlando. Their immediate threat will be done very soon in a matter about 15 minutes. There still is some considerable rotation on the radar appears to be tightening up, which is making the threat all the more serious. I've seen enough tornado locations on radar before confirmed on the ground set to be able tell. Another thing that I believe is definitive is that there was most definitely hail at the Parks.

What do the parks do during threats like this? Do they make announcements and bring everyone inside? Do they evacuate the campground (probably not enough time, I would guess).

Does MK ever bring people into the utilidors, to be safer (like a basement)?

I would think, although it is stormy and you would think that common sense would prevail, many people are in "vacation mode" and simply do not pay attention to dire warnings like this. So, I wonder how the parks and resorts (Disney and other) get the word out.

I'm not sure what the setup is at Disney, but at Universal there definitely are clearly marked storm shelters. The largest and easiest to find is at Marvel by Cafe 4. I am sure Disney and Universal both have numerous shelters and procedures to implement if a severe storm is imminent.

I was on I4 During the bulk of the storm. Everybody else around me came to a complete stop. The winds definetely felt 60mph. It felt like a mini hurricane ripped through.

Magic Kingdom received a lot of rain and lightning, but not much in terms of high winds or hail. The rain rate was so heavy that many areas of the park flooded until the drains could catch up. Other than outdoor operations going down for the lightning, there were no other weather related guest impacts with the tornado warning.
