Veile Danke!

That's "Many Thanks" in Danish, by the way. :D

Thanks for the info, but I've gotta admit I've got NO idea what a "mame" is. :veryconfu To tell the truth, I 1st thought it was a typo, until I saw someone else mention it/them. I thought it was supposed to be "game".

Anyway, Thanks again, so VERY much, for the info. Alas, I mustn't venture forth into the fathomless halls of Ebay ever again. I've spent WAY too much money on shi*, er, I mean, STUFF, I really didn't need. I was hoping it was something commercially available. Oh well.

All the games you mention sound familiar, and I liked them, but I'm not sure I remember Star Castle exactly. Again, it sounds familiar, but I can't recall it. :veryconfu

Thanks yet again.

C ya'!

P.S.: I do NOT speak Danish, I've just got a friend from there, that told me that phrase. ;)

M.A.M.E. - multiple arcade machine emulator (the grand daddy of em all)...its the best for arcade games (new and old)..ROMS (games) are the problem...they are easy to get if you are in the "scene"...but an outsider will be out of luck. Since they really arent LEGAL (unless you actually own the game)...not many people make the games public...

For the OTHER systems (the same rules apply to roms) check out www.zophar.net ...they have a list of EMUs for all systems...on the right of the site...you cant miss it.

If you lived closer to me I could burn you a stack of about 80 CDs that has litereally EVERY game imaginable (Yes..Im an emu addict) on em..i have a whole hard drive dedicated to emulators and roms (its in my mame box)...from the following systems::

Arcade (from 1970's to 2000 - The full romset according to MAME)
NES (complete set - including Beta and imports)
SNES (complete set - including Beta and imports)
Sega Master System - (complete set)
Megadrive (Genesis) - (complete set)
Vectrex
Coleco Vision (I assume I have the complete set)
Gameboy (complete set - including Beta and imports)
Gameboy Advance (Most of the complete set)
TurboGFX 16 (complete set)
Jaguar (complete set)
VirtualBoy (complete set...all 29 games..hehe)
Playstation (since games are all on CDs...I just rent and copy them)
N64 (complete set - including Beta and imports)
Atari 2600 (Complete set)
NeoGeo (complete set)
System 16/32 Arcade boards (complete set)
Namco sys aracde board (complete set..but oh so sloooow)
Nintendo Ultra 64 arcade board (Killerinstinct 1 and 2)

And thats about it...everything else is either an emu of a computer system (amiga or apple II), or I dont have enough stuff for it to count...

Anyone local here who wants to trade :fork:

This is a time consuming hobby BTW..im on a 56k and the game sizes range from 23k to about 150 megs depending on the system and the game....Ive been doing this since about 97ish and i just RECENTLY completed my SNES and N64 sets ;)
