7DMT On-Ride Photo?

Probably, but if you visit regularly, it might be worth it...

I figure there is no way they ever offer it. But if they did, it would be like a grand minimum.

They have to price it so the locals aren't getting a bargain. A grand is probably way too low for what they would charge.

I would think that the locals would be less likely to care enough to buy photo packages in the first place... if I was going to the parks that often, I would be less likely to want as many pictures of the place, because it wouldn't be as big of a deal to me as it was when I went in June, since it was the first time I had been in over a decade.

I do agree, though, that the price would have to be pretty high for Disney to consider such a thing, so it would probably be worth it to very few people.

If locals could buy unlimited ride photos for a year for $300, I bet there would be plenty of takers. Probably even at $500. I bet they'd sell quite a few packages for a grand and then have to track pictures for a year. Which Disney only stores your photos for 30 days before they want more money out of you. So to make this worthwhile to Disney, they'd have to charge a small fortune. I can't see any way this idea would make sense for them.

We're on the same page about this not being worth it for Disney... but to put the photo thing in perspective, I'm about 20 minutes from Six Flags over Georgia. Several of the rides have pictures like the ones at Disney. My ride photos from Disney are more important to me than a ride photo at SF, because I can go to SF anytime I want, making the pictures less valuable because I can easily relive that experience. The Disney ride pictures, on the other hand, represent a more unique experience because I can't get there as often. I wouldn't pay $300 for ride photos for a whole season at Six Flags, but I *might* pay the $150 for Memory Maker if we went back to WDW.

Just my thoughts... I'm sure there are locals who fall on both ends of the spectrum.

I might pay 300 but no way would I go 500. I think 2 weeks is something like 250 now. I would like the full year since I go 3 weeks a year for the 250 but would not go higher than 300. It's just not worth it.

They charge you some ridiculous fee just to hold your pictures another month. No way they would offer it for a year for $300. They were trying to upsell me to buy another month of storage while I was still on property!

It's kind of a moot point. They have no intention of offering this ever.

at 14:25 there is a little podium thingy that was emitting flash towards our faces, to the left there is another one but you can't see it in the video.

Mine was hilarious. I would have bought it but the price was too high. Didn't stop me from photographing the screen, though.

Like this? ;)

Does anyone know if or when a 7DMT gift shop will open?? - I would guess that if there is to be an on ride photo, it will be rolled out then...

Honestly I'm shocked it's not already open. Maybe there's a setback with getting the on ride photos linked or something.

Now that I'm thinking about it I feel kinda turned around. Where is the gift store at? Man those new castle walls have thrown me for a loop!

There is no gift shop and no room for one. I'm not sure where you would have to go to see any possible photos, but it would have to be quite a walk from the exit.
