Picture #8

I cannot figure out what Picture #8 is. Can anyone tell me? It looks like the construction phase for either Epcot or Magic Kingdom.

Cool pictures. I really miss River Country. Especially after singing a few pictures of it.

31 days to go :sohappy:

I like the pictures but if they are "Publicity Photos from the 70's" why do you have a copyright on them. I know you didn't take the photos because you weren't born yet. It's not like someone would be stealing your work if they copied them from the internet and why put a copyright on something you want to share? I'm not trying to be mean I'm just curious. I see it all the time at various sites.

questions

I have a question:

One of the pictures of Epcot being built show a building (circular) over near where today's Test Track is. Isn't test track new? It looks like the same building as TEst Track, or was something else in there before?

yes, TT is new, but they used the same building. basically they gutted the WOM (RIP) and fit TT inside. (unless im wrong and Disney wasted bu-ku money on a whole new building structure; highly unlikely)

No your right, TT now just runs around in the shell of what was once the WOM. And very good pics indeed. Thanks for posting them.
