Hey all...no pics, but some news from Epcot!

-The cones that you crash into on Test Track (non ABS braking test) are back, although they appear to be somewhat different than the old ones. They do not light up like the rest, they seem to be painted wood planks that the car wheels flatten as they roll over them.

-The Curtains from theatre 2 in Ellen's Energy Adventure are still missing. The Curtain covering the center screen is still there, but the side screen curtains are missing. It ruins the "going Widescreen" effect, as you know when it will stop.

-Also at Ellen, the Preshow center projector was a little out of focus. Enough to bug me, but I'm too critical.

-Mission Space Green and Orange is running like clockwork!, Orange had significantly longer waits throught the day.

-Soarin' was great as usual.

-Some of the climite control doors on Living with the Land were not working.

-There was actually a line for El Rio de Tiempo:eek:

-One thing I thought was interesting, Rio de Tiempo was loading normal guests into the wheelchair boat. I was one of them. 3 rows and 2 seats per row they managed to fill, which kept the lines down. I wonder if it's something they will do at iasm during the off season, or if there are no chairs.

-There are several rehab walls up all around world showcase. I'm pretty sure it's for the flower and garden festival removal.

-The removal is going pretty good so far. Donald and Daisy are gone from the enterance, but the heart tunnels remain. Some various topiaries are still up, but all F&G referances have been removed.

-Living with the Land was only running with 8 boats, which struck me as odd. It left a HUGE wait between boats at loading. If they do go to pre-recorded, I hope they add the boats taken out because of Fastpass. Those machines can be better used elseware.

-Speaking of the pre-recorded, there was a boat (that we couldn't get on) going around with about 4 CM's onboard. I don't know exactly why, but it seems like they were being trained on the spiel.

-Illiminations was awsome!

-Siemens is still working on the post-show for SSE. There are additional walls up on the west side. You can exit bout both sides, the CM's had the Emerency exit doors open on the west side, as the new wall blocked the regular doors.

-The Golden Dream Ship (newly dedicated) looks great as it did pre-hurricane, on the lagoon!

-Figment was having some major technical difficulties. During the finale, where the screens blow up, One screen wasn't there, to the left of car 1, and the screen in front of car 3 did not lower all the way, it barely moved. I mentioned the problem and about 2 hours later, when I went back, the ride was down.

-Figment's Meet and greet is back.

-The reflection pools are drained around future world West.

That's all for now! Post and Discuss!

Test Track has orange wooden planks, to pass as a cone? They should at least put something in there, that looks really close to a cone, but not a plank. Odd..

I forgot to mention the cones at TT in my trip report. Having those there (even though you can see the track if you really look) really adds to that part of the ride. And to be honest, I think that is the best part of the attraction.

Orange is the normal version and Green is the tamed down. However, Green is pretty good in its own right.

We noticed this a few weeks ago. The line was crazy while we were eating dinner at San Angel Inn. The line went down after and when we got on to ride, they put us in one of the wheelchair boats. I was a little disappointed though because I like to snuggle up on that ride because I always freeze to death! I felt like I was going to fall out of the boat.

Thanks for the updates!

Love and I got one of those last weekend. Though there was no line and we had the boat to ourselves. It was pretty funny with the single seats and the ramp seperating us down the center.

Those Wheelchair boats aren't so bad, they have taller back rests! I'm sure you could nap going through the ride on that center asile!

The Living Seas is drawing some big crowds, but it's not too bad. I would recommend going to Turtle Talk either really early or late in the day. The show runs from 10am with the last show at 9pm.

Walls are still up and the holes are still in the mural. The holes are covered with plastic to prevent water from getting behind it. The exit station is blocked off from Seabase Alpha by a hardly noticable construction wall.

I doubt anything will "leak" out before October at the earliest, or until the November opening.

Sometimes a tour group or two will descend on El Rio del Tiempo all at once and cause a brief line.

That's normally the issue, but wasn't while we were there. The line was constant all day. Not bad though, just from the sign to the dock, and around the bottom switchback. It was only about 3 minutes.

Thanks  . My friends and I graduated from high school yesterday, so it should be an awesome trip. Crowds sound bareable, which is always good.
