I'll drop it before I get flamed for a comment that would prolly get taken the wrong way by the multitude of oversensitive net people who dissect every thing typed and find any excuse to take it the wrong way. ;)

Attendance Figures for every WDW Park

Wow! That's a great link, but depressing. I knew Park attendance was off after 9/11 but I didn't realize how bad it had been sliding prior to that. Compared to overall theme park attendance, Disney attendance has really been falling off over the past 5 years.

That is completely incorrect. If you read the research that was done during the Comcast merger talks, it was stated that Disney's parks were performing better than all other leading competitors.

Attendance at the parks can't support another park? Sheesh, how crowded does it need to get. Any ride line longer than 1/2 hr is too long IMO.

You need to come in the off-season. Like right now. Half of Disney is "walk-ons."

To give you an example of how far away we are from "5th Gate."

This holiday season we hit a brand new attendance record for Walt Disney World in a single day. It was 1,000 people above the previous record. The problem? The previous record was set in 1996, BEFORE Animal Kingdom was open.

So, at this point, Animal Kingdom has allowed us to gain 1,000 extra people at Disney. :( 1,000 people is not enough to justify 4th gate, much less plans about a 5th gate.

We have a LONG, LONG time before a 5th park will come around.

That might be more encouraging. Do you have a link?

Man, I hate run-on sentences. I hate them, I hate them, I hate them. And Prolly, what does that mean? Some kind of underground slang against University of Kentucky Fans? I see right through you and your caniving hateful ways and I will not be burdened with such rhetoric.
