There are plenty of other threads on these forums about this exact subject. Anyway, the name and theme of it depends on who you ask.

Aw, heck, let's put all the ideas and rumors together: I think the fifth gate should be called "Beastly Coaster Thrillride Villain Classic Attractions Unlimited Budget Kingdom", or "BeCoThrillVillClassAttUnlimBud Kingdom" for short. It should be so big as to have TWO sites - one near the Magic Kingdom, and another near Wide World of Sports. How will you commute between the two sections of the park? Why, Disney will simply expand the monorail, of course.

Attractions will include:
In "IWantMoreThrillRidesLand":
Bald Mountain
Fire Mountain
Indy Jones clone
The world's largest roller coaster

In "IMissMyFavoriteAttractionLand"
20K Under the Sea
Mr. Toad
Alien Encounter (they're going to build two versions - the "before Eisner told them to make it scarier" version and the "after")
If You had Wings
Dreamflight (yes, a separate attraction from "If You Had Wings")
World of Motion

Everyone help come up with ideas for this park!
(Just having some fun here... No offense intended... :))

All the full length Broadway Disney musicals live on stage throughout the day!!!!:sohappy:

Lion King
Beauty and the Beast
Mary Poppins

I think they still need a fifth park.
Or no?

Animal Kingdom didn't increase the guest numbers, but rather started cutting into the numbers of the other parks. A fifth park will just make that worst.

Just a question of curiosity, why would you like to see a fifth park?
Well I just would maybe just like to see like a Villian Type of Park with all Disney's Biggest and Baddest Villians with probably some high tech thrill rides to go along with it. To answer you question,I hope I did.

I think the Villan park is one of the better concept that I have heard for a Disney theme park, but don't forget that even if Disney does do a 5th gate, it doesn't mean it will be a Villian theme.

The most likely out come of Disney creating a 5th park at this juncture is that, their isn't the attendence to cover the cost of running the park. The only thing that will happen like is that the park will sap attendence from the other parks, like others have said. The biggest attendence sap would probably be AK (Since it is the newest and and has the least to do). Most guest that stay on site stay an average of 4 days. That means guest will have to pick between which parks to visit. A lot of guests skit at least one park when they visit.

While we all would like to see a 5th another gate open, it should be done at the right time and that time may never come.

Say, I was wondering, why does everyone call the 5th park the 5th gate? There are plenty of gates in Walt Disney World... In fact, gates are everywhere... Not to mention the fact there are 5 "gates" already, 1 at AK, MGM, and MK, and 2 at Epcot... Just a thought...

I doubt we will see a 5th park anytime in the near future. I think it would be much more probable to see an expansion of MK or AK. Who knows we might have a Villains section at MK or maybe even Narnia at AK if the series of movies is successful enough.

My thought is that a 5th theme park whenever built would keep people on property that go to Florida for a week and spend a day at Universal or another non-Disney park in the area. Thats what my family did last time we were there and a 5th theme park probably would have eliminated that off property trip.

I don’t think anything will keep people from hitting the other parks in Orlando. Universal and Sea World are so different from anything Disney has. Some people just don’t fully or even partially buy into the magic of Disney and after 4 days of not really experiencing it they need a change. I go to Universal and Sea world every couple of years and I find myself missing that enigma know only as Disney magic.

exactly, when I go down, I am going to do a day or two at Universal. If that means I have to give up a park at Disney, then I won't go to one of the parks. It was 3 trips before I went to AK and the only reason I wanted to go was to see EE construction. I know others with the same view, Orlando is just to saturated with parks, and don't forget Cypress Gardens just reopen to good reviews and they are trying to fight for a piece of Orlando travel guest, although right now it is mostly local right now.
