Sorry, but I really just don't feel like visiting WDW now. Too much is going on and I'm not really feeling the "magic" like I should at this point. My daughter's autograph book is still not completed, and I just don't feel like working on it.
I had a wall in my shower in the bathroom collapse a few weeks ago due to a leak behind the wall that I wasn't aware of. The walls soaked up all the water until they crumbled. Getting the impression that my insurance isn't going to cover my claim. Estimates that I've got are between $7,000 and $4,000. I could do the work myself, but it wouldn't be done right. I did start to tear down the rest of the walls to the studs and found green board, as expected, but then I found cement board, and then regular dry wall. Still don't have a shower, but thankfully the tub is still functional. If my insurance doesn't pay for it, this will eat up all the money I've set aside for our trip and then some. We'll be depending on the DDP for everything and drinking fountain water all day, and forget about tipping anyone.
To top everything off, this G-20 thing is coming here in September, and I just found out I will be working 12 hour shifts up to the day I leave for vacation, finishing my shift at 6:30 AM the day my flight leaves.
Sorry...just feeling really depressed right now and really don't want to go.
