50th Ribbons

I noticed while looking at pictures of the DL ceremony yesterday that most of the characters had blue ribbons on for the 50th Anniversary. I was wondering if this is something the characters are going to be wearing for the remainder of the celebration or if it was just for this event. Also, do the characters have the ribbons at WDW or only at DL?

Im sorry I dont have an answer for you....dont beat me up! But I just wanted to say Holy Crap! Rutt & Tuke!!! Ive never seen them in "character" form before. Are they at WDW?

They weren't walkaround characters and stayed hidden behind that bush the entire time.

I haven't seen any of the characters at MK wearing them on my last two visits(yesterday and this past Saturday) so it was probably for the event. I don't know if characters present at the event in MK wore them as well as the ones out at DL, but I would guess that they probably did.

I don't remember seeing the characters at AK on Saturday, or at Epcot, or MK on Sunday wearing those ribbons. I could be mistaken though.

Darn....but it would still be cool if they had a meet and greet with them. Just with bushes in front of them :lol: I wouldn't mind tho

They really look great in my opinion.

That would be cool to have them as meet and greet over in Canada at Epcot. They could use something like the little electric pallet jack/platform they used to bring the Epbots out on, and have shrubs and a fence around it.

They'd be a little higher than the guests and hang down over them(like looking over your shoulder). They could even have permanent rear legs while the front legs were that of the person inside, so they could have some limited movement, and even could do antler locks like real ones,and the ones in the movie did. They could even do something similar to the Epbots and have prerecorded sound bites of the 2 of them when the guests came up to stand under them, or if they were bickering with one another.

I will keep the ribbons in mind when I go to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow to see Regis and Kelly. I'm thinking that they won't have them, based on previous reports.
