I never fail to find some interesting things while surfing the net, but this has to be one of the better things I have come across.

It's good. Catchy, and ends w/ Walt's speech. Only prob is that there seems to be no opening, but that's probably b/c it's just a demo.

I chatted with the composer of this piece via email. He was very friendly, and seemed encouraged that we are all enjoying his music. But he set me straight on one thing: this is an uncommissioned demo, and not official in any way. Still, I think he has done an outstanding job, and I hope the head honchos at DL give him a chance!

A link to your page from an article in Theme Park Adventure that was posted last summer. I recently had someone ask me where they could get the Universe and You theme from MIB, I gave them the link, and later that night I get bored and check your site out to see if there were any other good songs. Turns out there are.

The DL Demo was very nice (it felt like it had a lot of heart in it, which makes a huge difference between that demo and whatever song that Disney's marketing department generally spits out), and I've really got to say that the Universe and You is definitely one of the best theme park songs out there. Great job on both!!!

I really REALLY appreciate and am overwhelmed by the responses I've been recieving. Thanks so much to all of you. I haven't submitted formally to Disney, although I have played it for their main contractor for music production, Audio By The Bay, whom I work with often. They liked it a lot as well. If I get enough people writing to me, i'm seriously considering pulling a few more strings and submitting the demo along with your letters of support to the REAL descision makers, who I know, but don't usually bother.
