I think that is just the ceiling tiles and one is missing or miscolored or something.

btw the top space mountain pic u took from the station right, i know this because i have the same pic , last year we were on Space mountain just going up the lift hill when track B,(we were on track A)went down, anyway as a fail safe the lights come on even if 1 track is still runnin,it was great i got to ride Space mountain with the lights on . and to make it better CM took us down the exit line so that we could ride it again with the lights off.whilst we waited for track B to be fixed (only took like 10 minutes) the CM putting the guests on the ride got us all to sing park songs,including much to my dismay, its a small world.
i was just wondering if any1 else has ridden space mountain with the lights on, it seems likely that some1 else has done it.

Actually i was on the TTA at the time. They had closed the entrance to SM off so i figured i'd go see what was up.

oh rite,i love going on the TTA through space mountain, they shut down the whole ride down ? must have been a major malfunction then, did ya find out what had happened then.

Yeah that;s the first time I've seen the star too, it does look really cool! Wish I was close enough to go to Disney More!!

neat pics. On the exterior of Seas (from monorail), what's the black-ish "upside down T"-shaped thingy? Looks like a spot where a sign should go, but I don't think that's where the old logo went. Also, I can't tell, but did they remove the lettering from the rock splashing-wave thing out front?

The sign on the rocks wasn't there but i bet they are going to add it back

Yes, The Living Seas letters have been removed from the rocks in the front of the pavillion temporarily.
