Hey all you out there in internet land. I just got back from WDW today, and I thought I would write you guys up another update. I visited Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom

Magic Kingdom--I was only here for about 2 1/2 hours..the wait times were--Haunted Mansion-Walk-on to 5 mins.
--Both Thunder And Splash Mountains were only 10 minutes even an hour after park opening.
--Space Mountain was 25 mins as soon as I got off, and walk on when I went on. --All Fantasyland rides were under 20 minutes.

Concerns---BEWARE--A DANGEROUS WATER FOUNTAIN LURKS IN TOMORROWLAND. Beware everyone, for there is a water fountain, right in front of Cosmic Rays, that, when taking a drink, reflects the sun and burns you forehead, and it doesnt feel all too good.
--Also, I dont know how long they had been down without me noticing, but the Televisions at Space Mountain that used to play the false, space news broadcast, ARE GONE. I know they havent used the inside queue for awhile, but I just realized it today.

Animal Kingdom--Overall, the park was not that busy
wait times--Primeval Whirl had the longest wait in the park when I got there. Kali kept 30 Minutes all day --Dinosaur was 5 minutes to walk on, and the line seemed to never stop, and they just kept taking us into the Preshow. It then broke down around 2:15 and remained down till I left. --Kali was great, as the water was real cold, and it seemed the rapids were turned up abit. Tough To Be A Bug had no wait. Also, I thought I would share this with you, that, when coming out of the Tree Of Life theater and hang a left, A path, by a waterfall and mist fans, which are very refreshing, drops you right off at the entrance to Africa.

Overall, today was a great day. With it being a Saturday, and summer break, the parks were not busy at all today. I got some pictures this time, nothing new, just some of me goofing off at WDW. Another Update to come very soon, and pics wl be up soon.

Hey all...I meant to add this to the original update

As I was on Splash this morning, I noticed some of things that have changed a bit. I know these are not new, but just some things that I have noticed since the last time I was there
--They no longer have the Newspaper article by the loading area anymore. They still have "Last chance to exit without gitten wet", which the used to have, but now, they have a giant warning sign underneith it. I liked the old way better.
--Also, the new laser checks or whatever they are that space you from the log in front of you are VERY loud and sqeaky. My guess is that there new and they ned some working in, but on the other hand, they might be very old, and need a fixin', I have no idea
--One more thing about splash that I noticed this time is that it was muc darker than usual in he show bldg.

On Thunder, there is still one train w/out leg guards

The pictures fro this update are just me fooling around, but is you still wanna see em--

I would write Disney a short letter to their suggestions department about the fountain, that sounds like something that would be easy to fix.

Well, im not sure if there exactly "lasers", but you'll notice that, just before you go over any drop on any water ride in the resort, there is a small conveyor belt that lifts you up, and you almost always stop for a moment and then continue on down the drop. I believe this is what spaces you from the boat in front of you. They usually let out a small burst of air when it lets go. This is what im talking about, that the Splash ones were very loud and sqeaky when they let the boats go. By the way everyone, Im off to the parks again on Tuesday, look for my report.
Im going to start naming them "Room1313's (whatever date) report". Just to get my name out there lol:lol:

Mr r drummer, i fool around more that when i go to BGT, uni or WDW, i barely fool around, the good thing is disney cant kick me out, the good thying for them is they cannot get sued for acting dumb and hurting my self on their attractions.

But still good, I did say not all the time though, just take a picture then fool around with it. or something like that,

First off I am very jealous of you for being able to go to Disney like that. :animwink:

Don’t be jealous, if he has the money for transportation to live near the parks and pay its taxes and then pay the cash to get in for a AP I presume, then he is ok, (Its sometimes expensive to live in Florida)

Waiting patiently for update and pictures.

Picture it as a Supermarket checkout counter... you know the lil belt you put your food on? And how it moves up until an object is sensed at the end? That's basically the same principle on how Splash operates.

On both the supermarket and Splash, there are small infrared LED's... one side beams out the invisible LED. The other side uses a photocell to recieve it. When the beam is blocked, the recieving side can't see it anymore, and sends the signal to stop the belt.

You can test this out... next time you're at the supermarket checkout line, you'll notice a few small holes at the end of the belt... being careful not to get your fingers caught in the belt mechanism, cover up the holes. (Typically only one has the LED).

This is also the same principle on how those turnstiles without the prongs work. They have two lil dots in them, and they count interruptions of the beam.

I got the map when we moved down here, and it was in our attic. Its a funny story, but some guy came to fix our water pipes and he was a real big Disney buff, and he saw it and went crazy. He said it was the opening day fun map, and its prob. well worth over 1000 bucks today, but now its hanging right above my computer, and its mine as soon as I move out lol

UPDATE TOMORROW---BE PREPARED...THERE MAY BE SOME INTERESTING MS NEWS:animwink:
