Hey all another news update from the world today--I hit MK and Epcot today, so that is all that will be covered in the update

--Mission Space costumes were spotted by yours truly today.
8 ambassadors were touring the front of the attraction, with
2 flight attendants. The costumes are blue and grey, and I
have pictures---wait till the end of the update
--Honey I shrunk the audience was closed today, and I heard
it is undegoing brief rehab.

--I also heard from a very nice British tourist that RNRC
was down again for most of the day today.

More Mission Space news

more than 25 space experts from NASA and Jet
propulsion lab., including 5 astronaughts

-Between 1959 and 1976, the US and Soviet Union
sent 29 manned and unmanned missions to the
moon. The sites of those missions are indicated
on the moon. The sites of each of those missions
are indicated on the moon sphere in the attractions

deciding on the color of red planet the dominates

What work do you need to do on them exactly? Is it getting them onto your computer? If it's just resizing and what not, I'd be more than happy to do it for you. You could just email the pictures to me. PM me if you're interested.

That sounds about right. The last I heard, which was several years ago, the shuttles still use the same computer equipment that was originally installed. I think they were 286 processors with 64 MB ram.

It's possible that they've upgraded since I last heard these specs. Any NASA engineers on the forums?:D

You know, the usual problems that Vekoma coasters get with time...which is why I can't understand why Disney is going with Vekoma again for EVEREST...they are so unreliable, and their coasters become downright painful with time...but take your time with the pics:)

Coaster really isnt down that much.

The space shuttles do use the same computer systems but are always suplemented by custom built laptops specific to each mission.

I could be way off here, but wasn't Vekoma involved in building BTMRR or maybe some coaster at DLP? If so, they don't seem to have too many problems, and they are outside. What other coasters has Vekoma built and what type of problems do they have? I would agree though that the last time I rode RnRC it did seem "rougher" than after it first opened. I just assumed it was the natural wear of the track/cars, since it still seems to be one of the smoothest coasters I've ridden and its nearly 4 years old.

All of their inverted coasters become painful very quickly, their newer giant inverted boomerangs, called Deja Vu, break down more than they work, and then the RnR problems--the wear and tear on their coasters ruin the rides much quicker than we see on other coasters...like Intamin AG, who Disney also works with.

I'll let you know whats going on with my camera situation. My computer recently got reset to factory settings meaning I have no programs except AOL, and the norm. Anyway, I used to get my pictures by a USB cable connected to my camera, and the other side connected to the computer by this arcsoft program. Now, I lost the arcsoft cd, couldnt find it, found it, but it had a giant crack in it, so its unusable. I downloaded drivers, but those were about as useful as a bag full of hair, and I dont know of any other way to DL them into my computer. You see my delay? Pictures will be up soon, I just got to get another 50 bucks to buy another cd...crazy isnt it?

**THREAD DRIFT ALERT**

While we're bashing Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, I thought I'd mention the last time I rode in the back on a few different trains, I could hear nuts and/or bolts rattling around behind my seat... I'm usually one of those people who ask for the front, but thought I'd go to the back instead, and now the idea of even getting close to back there scares me... :lookaroun
