$49 per nite (Sept-Dec)

I received a promotional email this morning advertising $49 per night (value resorts) for most nights from 8/29 through 12/19. Moderate resorts were being advertised in the email for $79 per night. In order to take advantage, I was given a personalized PIN number to give to the reservations line.
Did anyone else get this? Do we know if this will be the new rate?
I received this email in an old email address I had before I was a Florida resident and PAP holder. Somehow I doubt, though, that the Florida resident/PAP rate can be any lower than this.

Anyone have any info on this, or receive a similar email?

Disney Sept-Dec Rates

WOW!

We are planning on going to Walt Disney World for the first time in November. How can I get the special Moderate Hotel Rate for our Stay!

Please Help!

My Son and Niece are both 4 and this will be their first visit, I would love to make is special by staying at a Disney Resort.

Originally we were looking to stay at the Embassy Suites in Lake Buena for 129 a night (Which isn't bad with Breakfast). But with the special Moderate Hotel Rate we could afford to stay at a Disney Resort.

K, I got the same email two days ago. It's not just for value and moderate, but also Deluxe resorts. Here's the problem....Pam said these rooms were going fast, and she wasn't kidding. Most of them are already gone. Good luck to those of you who plan on using them but haven't yet called.

I did get the following quotes with the code form my email, however...

Pop Century - $49/night
Port Orleans - $109/night
Polynesian - $259/night

...not bad discounts, but the AP discounts that we've always used have been just as good. Here's hoping they stick around. :)

At the bottom of the email it says call for deluxe resorts. On a different thread someone mentioned they DID get a discount on a deluxe with their pin.

I didn't see that on the bottom of the email. I guess I need to go back and look at it. Thanks for letting me know.

I'm registered on every possible Disney site. Have had Disney's go.com as my e-mail for YEARS. Enter all the contests I see. So that can't be the only criteria. The CM I spoke with today said she didn't know exact details but felt it had something to do with a particular "test market" whatever that may be.

The worst thing of all is that I FINALLY got an e-mail from Disney. Problem is that its just an offer IF I buy a timeshare !!:fork:

Pin Offers

Pin offers are for specific households and come from marketing. Factors to think about with these "targeted" offers are: Where do you live? When was your last visit? Do you have kids? Do you speak Spanish? Do you only stay at value or moderate resorts when visiting? These offers not only help you with a lower price on your room, but they also help WDW marketing.

My advice is to always make sure that when calling DRC that your email is updated in their system.

I hope that this helps.

I received the offer myself last week. Then yesterday received a Spirit Airline offer. So that was too much to refuse. Called and got a reservation at Pop for 10/6-10/9 to take the 2 older grandkids. The savings for WDW package including the park hopper tickets was $169.20 for the 3 of us.

There is alot of talk here as to why some got offers and some did not. These are things I know about myself. Perhaps may shed light:

About a week before I had requested a new WDW DVD. In the questionaire, I let it be known I was planning a trip for this year.

I haven't been to WDW since '99

Of course I am registered to receive emails.
