Not to fear, Disney reservations themselves has a special assistance section, and the cast member there actively recommended the sole external company that they allow to do pickup/dropoff at WDW resort hotels. I have a reservation all set with them. I keep the unit with me and charge it outside my room overnight, as well as bring the cord with me and charge where possible during meals etc. They advised a variety of known charging outlets in each park for topping off the batteries.

I can walk now as of this week without a limp, two weeks ahead of schedule (never tell a Grunt they can't) but no way I'd last those distances. So I will ride the scooter to each attraction and wait in line, then get up and walk normally to get in and out of the ride. Same thing with a restaurant. Ride between the locations, then walk the final stretches with my new robo-hip ;)

Visit Animal Kingdom - it’s worth the trip and is a great place you can scooter around and see so much without a lot of stress. It’s really become one of our favorite parks and avatar area is beautiful but it closes at 5pm usually so look at the hours and maybe do that first/morning vs evening when other parks stay open late .

So glad to hear you say that. Last year, as my disc issues were starting to get back to normal, I knew that even though it was much, much, much better then it had been just a few months previous, I knew that I would regret it if I didn't give myself a break. I hated the idea of not being able to do what I had been doing for the previous 35 years of just walking my way around the place, but with the cost of admission these days, I didn't want to spend all that money just sitting and watching others enjoy their time there.

The scooter, which is way over maligned on any Disney Board you care to visit, had me thinking I should just stay home and let others enjoy my favorite places. Then I thought, screw them, let them think whatever they want to think. Someday they may, through no fault of there own, be in the same situation and they will then realize what reality is like. In the meantime they can all pound sand. I went and I had a great time. I'm looking forward to going back before to long, not needing the help, but the help I accepted back then was wonderful and allowed me to feel like a whole person again. Best wishes to you and your robo-hip. This past fall I added a robo-heart Pacemaker (named Sparky) to my arsenal of assistance and now not only is my back cooperating but the main drive motor is running smoothly again. Can't wait until this Pandemic bites the dust and I can re-join the world of the mechanically healthy.
