The question is why does Disney want you there 90 minutes prior to the show? It seems that they'd be better served with you in the park buying stuff....oh wait I forgot that they hawk all kinds of stuff to you as your waiting and the longer the wait the more of a chance you'll buy something out of sheer boredom. And yes the entertainment was pretty lame and low brow, but even if you dont like it, at least you have something to complain about and that passes the time

"let me entertain you"

There are countless entertainers already working in all of the Disney parks. Maybe a good starting point would be bringing in pre-existing talent rather than hiring new talent. I'm sure the existing talent wouldn't mind the additional hours (pay) and the opportunity to showcase for such a large crowd.

Take the talking trashcans, for example. That only takes 1 person (performer) to run. I'd rather watch that trashcan roll around and interact with people for 30 minutes than nothing at all. Heck, even jugglers would be a starting point. (The ...Sinbad stunt show at Islands of Adventure features an impressive pre-show juggling act.)

...or put up a big screen and do a slideshow of pictures taken of guests inside the Tower of Terror and Rock N Rollercoaster. At least that would be something to look at and I know plenty of people like to "people watch" (voyeuristic Americana I suppose) not to mention a lot of people make funny expressions on those rides.

Anything would be a starting point.

as a professional entertainer, I'd like to see you get up there and do a better job yourself. Not as easy as it looks...

anyway, back to the topic at hand. The ladder guys are over @ AK now in Dinorama

With that line of reasoning, I can't comment on bad actors unless I can act better. I can't complain about my kids teacher unless I could teach better and I can't complain about the space program unless I could run NASA better. OK, I get it now. You are an entertainer and I stepped on your toes. I was commenting on his routine. That's it. Sorry if I offended you. Good luck in the future and I hope you make millions entertaining.

The 1st time we saw the show there was a pre show. It turned out to be the DJs from Radio Disney Just plain Mark and Zippy, before they became the DJs. We got there kinda late so we didnt see the whole thing they may have not been there earlier.
