4 for a $

I just heard about this group @ MGM...thinking of adding them to my audition list. Are there any sound clips of them performing?

Hey...

I'm a sub for 44$, so if you have any info you need I may be able to help you out. The group is a pre-established one (meaning they use the same 4 guys every day and there are two days where the group doesn't perform), and the only time subs like me are used is when they are either doing another function or when one is away or sick.

Let me know if you have any questions. The guys are all really nice.

This is so weird. I just did a search on these guys last week and came up with nothing. I wanted to purchase their CD before I go next week because they are AWESOME!

And as for sound clips, I have not been able to find any online (even on illegal downloading programs ie. napster, limewire, etc)

I just heard of them on the Disney audition web site. I'm aiming for American Vybe & VoL, though I guess it can't hurt to mention them on the audition form. I tried listening to song samples but the site won't play them =(

Yeah, I checked that and all the ones from their 1st CD don't work. The samples from their newest CD "He's A Friend" do work (or at least they worked on my computer). The songs off the new CD aren't the same songs they sing at MGM (they mostly sing the songs of the first album), but it should give you some idea on their style.

They mostly do Christmas songs? Not meaning to sound insulting, just wanting to state that 'Our First Christmas' was the first album. The one with classic such as Love Potion No. 9 and Spinning Wheel are actually on the second CD.

And BoyXE, could you please beg Doug for an autographed copy of Unto Us? I think it is one of the most amazing songs ever written and would love to have a copy (especially signed by the writer).

Umm.. I'm just going by what they said on their website, and to quote:

Return 2 Zero- Our first album, was made in the spring of 2000. Mostly cover tunes, these are songs that we perform every day as Four for a Dollar.

These guys are great, we missed them this year but caught them last year.

Their CD was on sale in some of the Studios shops near BatB
