Hi WDW Magic!

This is my first time posting!
I consider myself a savvy WDW visiter. I live in FL , own an AP & visit at least bi-annually.
My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to wdw for my bday but unfortunately, it falls right on Easter Weekend which we all know is an extremely busy time. Normally, i wouldn't be so intimidated about spending only 2 nights at the resort since I have a pretty good strategy to attack the parks. However, now that there is the Fast Pass enforcement my strategy is basically useless :( I wanted to spend my bday 4/6 with a nice bday meal and planned to make an ADR to celebrate but now, im kind of thinking there really is no point to that since i feel like i will be wasting time eating and will not be able to ride anything muchless parkhop. Any advice, tips or tricks would be appreciated :)

If you want to hit any of the big three rides at Epcot and don't mind not seeing the fireworks, I suggest choosing one and getting in line right about 8:50p. We've done this a number of times and the line moves much quicker because once 9p hits there aren't any fastpasses, since the park is closed, going through so the regular line moves. Even on night of EMH that works well too because people are just out at the fireworks so if you get in the line before the fireworks end you usually don't have a bad wait at all, maybe 20 mins.

Thanks all!

Sigh, I was hoping it wasn't going to be THAT bad, but I expected so much when I realized the timing fell inline with Easter. I appreciate the advice, I hope it will be a tolerable experience. I'll let you all know how it went. It's my mother in laws bday too & she's a first timer so I hope she doesn't come out of this hating wdw lol. :king:
