4-22 Epcot Update

Went to Epcot yesterday and saw the F&GF. Once again Disney does an amazing job with the whole thing. I also got to see Paul James, host of HGTV's Gardening by the Yard. And I also ran into someone from the... well, you will find out.
Peter covered most of the news in his update so I really have nothing new to report. I only come bearing pictures.



Getting there a little later than we hoped, we ran over to see Paul James before it was too late.

You were able to ask him questions about his show, crew, plant care, and a bunch of other stuff. Those who watch the show know hes really a crazy guy.

So after leaving his thing, we walked out into the festival center only to see...

Dave Smith, head of the Disney Archives. He was signing his book Disney A-Z. I walked over and shook hands with and talked to him for a few minutes. I got my picture with him and then went on. It was really cool getting to meet him.

So from there we caught the Friendship over to Germany for lunch, we then messed around in Germany for a little bit.

Heading past through the train setup in Germany, its all decked out.

The planters all around the park are filled with beautiful flowers.

There is a booth with train stuff in it next to the train setup in Germany.

Well, so far those are some extremely nice pictures and I can't wait to see the rest of them. I'm not exactly familiar with that Paul James guy, but I do know who Dave Smith is so it is great to see that you got to personally meet both of them.

Leaving Japan, we bumped into Paul James again! He was enjoying time in the park with his family and they were getting photos of the musical garden. His daughter wants him to build one for their backyard...

We said goodbye and went on our way, to Morroco...

Next is Snail Central, France. But insted of having giant snails, they had giant perfume bottles...

They also had these smell box things. You lift the top and take a whiff...

The top part of Canada doesnt have much in the way of flowers but thats ok, it still has the waterfall...

Here I am, claiming Canada in the name of WDW Magicers... (or scaring people, either one is good)
