Basically the film is shot using a camera rig that holds 9 cameras. Each camera has a separate film magazine but are all driven by one motor to stay at the same speed exactly. Each camera looks upwards at a mirror instead of just looking straight out - this gives a common focal point since early experiments found differing focal points induced headaches when watched.
Now you have 9 sets of film, 9 projectors in the theatre project onto 9 different screens at the same time, again each projector is running at the same speed. Since there are only 9 screens, each projector is opposite its relevant screen but virtually hidden in the frame between its 2 adjacent screens - otherwise the projectors would need to be positioned in the centre of a screen or above the screens.
The (sadly) 2 remaining CV Theatres are both in Epcot. O Canada is an update of the 1982 original, but quite a lot of its `new` footage isn`t CV360 - it`s one image replicated 9 times. Reflections of China is again an update of the 1982 version Wonders of China, but all new footage is true CV360, and looks stunning. Make sure you see both!
