I wonder if they might celebrate Disneyland's 50th in 2005 and then include the 35th in the celebration for 2006. The Disneyland celebration is supposed to be 18 months long starting in like April or May of 2005.

Disneyland 50 years
Walt Disney World 35 years
Epcot 25 years

I could be wrong but didn't Epcot open in 1982?

Isn't this year 15 for Disney-Mgm Studios? I thought it opened the year I was born but like the others I could be wrong!

Yeah I'm pretty sure it opened in 1989

Yes DDuckfan the Disney MGM Studios opened on May 1, 1989, and will indeed be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. From what i have heard dont expect very much maybe some pins and special merchandise thats about it. Apparently Cynthia Harris was in charge of the celebration plans:lol:

Yup Epcot opened October 1, 1982 and being that I was born in November of 82 and just turned 21 I don't see 25 coming on next year. At least I sure hope not, if I'm almost 25 where's my job and my fiance? :lookaroun

MGM: May 1, 1989 (15 this year)
AK: Earth Day (April 22), 1998 (5 last year)

I hope they have a big party on October 1st that year because that's my birthday. Being the Disney fan that I am, I'm really glad to have my birthday the same as MK and Epcot. If there's a party, I'm going to be there.
