30 minutes free parking?

Hi,

Im looking for some answers from recent visits, as googling this question leads me to “free parking hacks” which is not what I am after.

So basically is there a way to park your car for 30 minutes maybe less in Disney or around for my family to go and activate our tickets and leave?

We dont want to explore the park that day but need to activate our tickets in 2019 so we can use them for 14 days (already planned for Universal the 30th and 31st of December) as we arrive on the 28th evening.

Again not looking for “hacks” just a way to do so without paying $20-25 for the day when we don’t need to be there for long.

Thanks for reading and potentially helping me find answers its my first time 😅

I heard but cannot confirm that more than 20 years ago one can pay for parking at the theme park, go into the park to buy merchandise within a 30 minute window, then go to Guest relations to get reimbursed for parking then leave the park.

Hmm from what I'm gathering what you actually are in need of is "using a day" on your tickets which is what triggers activation.
In that situation I do not believe you could do it at Disney Springs.
You'd need to go to a theme park and enter the tapstiles.
You'll need to pay for parking at the theme park of your choosing and all enter the park and leave.

Ticket sales and activation at Disney Springs are now done at the Disney Ticket Center. It's near guest relations in the Town Center section but in a separate building. I don't know if they can help with what you are planning, but they should have an answer for you.

They don’t do that anymore. And how it worked was you paid for park admission we’re allowed in for an hour to purchase something and if you were out in an hour they refunded the park admission. Parking wasn’t refunded.

No.
Activating tickets vs. using a day are completely different scenarios. Activation can be done at DS.

Is there ever a difference between first use and activation? Some scenario where you would have to actually use a park day instead of just activating the ticket?

MIsread, activation is different from using a day I got the four day and had to activate the card before I went to the parks. I used DS to avoid the parking.

Yeah we just need to activate them before 2019 ends and we’ve planned to go to universal the 30-31th so the 29 is our first full day (shopping and adjusting) so Disney Springs will do that. Good to know!
(14 day tickets will last more then our duration if we activate on the 29th)
