Well - I missed a few days again. Don't you hate when you're sooo excited about your trip and things are building up and you just can't wait - AND THEN - all the sudden work and life turn nuts and you can't focus on the fun build up to departure day as much!?!?

Anywhos - we leave a week from Friday - so, it's Day 11 - Your Favorite Love Song-

Beauty and the Beast

"You'll be in my arms" (Tarzan) - I know some may say it's not a love song since it's not between two lovers... But it melts my mom heart each time. And the greatest love is the one we have for our kids.

I like Beauty & the Beast but unfortunately I don't like Angela Lansbury's singing voice...

"Once upon a dream" from Sleeping Beauty. I love that song! It used to play over and over again at La Boutique du Château, the Christmas store inside Sleeping Beauty's castle at DLP, where I worked in 2001. The sound was low, so I really only heard it once the store was closed and I was restocking the shelves, it was a very peaceful and pleasant part of the day!

"A Whole New World" is my favorite. It's so beautiful! 'Beauty and the Beast" is a close second.

I actually picked 'A Whole New World" for my father-daughter dance at my wedding. My dad always used to take me to see Disney movies as a little kid, beginning the with Little Mermaid. He'd see them multiple times in theaters with me because I loved them so much. So, I knew I had to pick a Disney song for our dance

I used to sing my kids to sleep with this song!

My favorite is "I See the Light". It really conveys the wonder of new love and how much it changes our perspectives.
