3-Disc POTC DVD coming?

The 2-disc POTC was the cheapest movie ever sold down here staight from release. I haven't bought it yet, cause I don't buy "new" movies anymore, because lots of the "old" movies I want have been discontinued, so I'm working my way down based on release date. And besides, couple of months later, you can get good discounts if you don't rush for a movie on release... Anyways, I obviously wanna get it, and I'd definately favor the 3-disc set. However, if the extras are redundant... It'd be nice if it had more stuff on the attraction FOR the DVD player, instead of only DVD-ROM features like the one we have now.

Hey guys, it's no longer a rumor!

A few details have come in about November 2nd's re-release of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. The 3-disc Gift Set will include the existing 2-disc Collector's Edition plus "The Lost Disc", a third disc featuring 8 never-before-seen bonus features. Carrying the same $29.99 Suggested Retail Price that the 2-disc set did, the new DVD sounds enticing to those few people who haven't already bought the film on DVD. The 3-disc Pirates gift set is up for pre-order at Amazon at just $20.99. Here's a look at the set's artwork:

Update on price and cover art

Greetings all from the Geek Labs

For you scalawags out there, Disney will release Pirates of the Caribbean: The Lost Disc on 11/2 (SRP $29.99). This is a 3-disc set that includes the original 2-disc version of the film along with a 3rd bonus disc of all new booty. Unfortunately, methinks there's no way to get the bonus disc WITHOUT buying the original DVD over again. We'll look into it, mateys.
