Good Morning Disneyaerians. Now Ive read on these forums that some people visit WDW on a three day vacation and I suppose if I stayed in close proximity I would do this also. But our missing AWOL member Crush Dude went to OKW for 23 days,if memory serves me right.Last year we were considering three weeks, but in the end opted for just the two,and to be truthfully honest, after 14 days & nights,we were ready for going home.Done this, done that, ate this, drank that.Got the T-Shirt to prove it.Yes It sad to be leaving but we couldn't complain.Out of our 5 Disney trips,I would rate it as our favourite. So now to my question. If you could pick a length of trip, staying onsite, what would it be? Now this is your annual vacation,so is three days too short and three weeks too long.?:)

I'm actually planning on moving into the castle and never leaving again! This next trip will be my longest yet (10 days) so maybe I'll feel a bit more ready to go home than I do on my 5-7 day trips that we usually take.

Just a quick question Britt. Have you ever been to the Stanley Hotel in Colorado ?Near Estes.
Never STAYED in it, but yes, we drive by in and walk around it every summer! It's only about 3 hours away!

We go to Estes Park ALL the time in the summer. BEST SALT WATER TAFFY EVER. And the trip up there....gah. I live in the most gorgeous state ever. Those mountains just make your jaw drop! :D

We have a ten hour drive to get down there. So, the longest we've ever spent is 7 nights 8 days. That was plenty enough time for us to do, see, and eat everything we wanted. Don't think I could handle two weeks! We love WDW but I would miss my cat!

We've always done two weeks at our time share right outside of the parks, and it's been perfect- usually 6 or 7 park days, plus tons of time at DTD and restaurants on site! Ideally for me, I'd want 2 week on-site, really getting to experience it all!

I am tired of the cold and ready for spring as well! It "snowed" for a few hours here on Thursday and gave us a good dusting and the whole state shut down. That white #$%^ really freaks everyone out down here. Luckily it was just a few hours and we reached the 60's this weekend, but still I need some Fl (Disney) warmth! Really spending the whole winter down there seems like a great plan!

3 days is too short for an annual vacation. I would say a week to 10 days if it was your annual vacation. If you can go every year as my DH and I can do, a very short trip, like even for 1 night, would be good, but this is being said after coming off a 10 day vaca in September. So its not been that long since I have been last. Basically my answer is a week to 2 weeks if it was your one annual vacation. If you can go often, then a day or so is a great way to get your Disney fix. As much as I would love to say a 3 week vaca to the World would be grand...I was ready to come home after 10 days.
