Well it is a circle vision theater. Disney built Buzz lightyear attractions in circle vision theaters in Paris, Tokyo, and California.

Thanks a lot for the update. Good to see that crowds and temperatures were moderate. I wonder what's up with the Country Bears sign change? I prefer the old one.

Just like all painted sculptural work at WDW, the CBJ sign has to be taken backstage every so often, stripped down, primed, and re-painted. The *new* sign is up in its place while the regular sign gets the standard TLC from the sign shop/Artist Prep teams.
It costs nothing for the sign to be up there, and it actually costs quite a bit to refurbish it (and the hearse, and Agent Pleakly, and the old man making fire in the "Indian Village"). Fear not, this is not "cost cutting", this is another example of the constant reinvestment in existing infrastructure that happens every day at WDW.
