My wife and I are going to WDW in the 2nd week of December and we are wondering how much of the extra stuff gets eliminated like the street shows. I expect rides to be shut down for refurb but what about he extras.

I have been during the first two weeks of December twice and there were NO rides shut down for rehab. The parades and firework do not run everyday but they run enough times to get to see them.

Check here for rehab news...

We are going the first week this year and expect to have a great time once again.

I say about 95% of the attractions and shows are running at that time. Some may be down, but most will be running due to the huge Holiday crowds.

I go a lot on the weekends in December, and have never really noticed a major shutdown of stuff!

Have fun!

We were there the second week in 2003. I thought it was fine. There is usually a thing or two in rehab, but there is plenty to keep you occupied and make the trip worth the money. MVMCP is the best thing that we ever experienced at WDW. I encourage you to consider going! Maggie

There is nothing more in rehab this time of year than any other...oops, except for one of the water parks.

If anything, there is more to be offered. MVMCP, Osborne lights and Epcot Christmas festivities and Candelight Procession.

It's a great time of year to go!
