I think this situation can be damaging to Disney if it goes the wrong way, but I find this whole situation to be absolutely hilarious! The black and the white families! You just can't make this stuff up!

The best solution for Disney is to turn aggressive on these people. Sue them for slander with every lawyer they have until the families are bankrupt and penniless. That would put a stop to this type of money grab, and stop race baiting idiots from trying to shake them down. Otherwise expect it to continue.
