BUT his family has a long-standing tradition of exchanging $26.9 million Christmas presents, so really he's just a notch above "comfortable" at the end of the day.

Poor guy...Wonder if he's thinking about all the CM's who are struggling with the high gas prices on their way to work.

Why should he? As Glenn Beck puts it in the title of a chapter in An Inconvenient Book, "The Income Gap: The Rich Get Richer, Good For Them." I say good for Mr. Iger. He works hard for his money and IMO deserves it.

I still comes down to "the hard working little guy" who makes the big guy look good.

Do you know for a fact the Bob Iger doesn't work hard? I'd be willing to bet he does, bc in order to run a company as big as Disney you need to. For you to say that "all the company needs is the little guy" is nuts. You need all parts of the company to work, and I'm sure Iger deserves every million he makes.

Let me ask you...do you know for a fact that he does work hard? I hope you don't think he runs this company all by himself.

I never once said that a company doesn't need "the big guy". But you can't tell me that Bob Iger doesn't have a group of people working beneath him doing all his dirty work making him look good.

The point I am trying to make is that no companies CEO deserves that kind of salary. You need to look past the fairy tale of Disney and think about how the business end works. At the end of the day it's still a normal company and a normal job.

It has nothing to do with the "fairy tale of Disney." He is the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company. Of course he has people working for him and they get compensated for the market rate for their job. They may get more or they may get lesss and it is their choice to stay or go. If you go by results then I would say he has done a very good job so far.

I think it's safe to say nobody in the company is getting paid more than Bob Iger.
