25th Anniversary Pics

Does anyone have any of the (eyesore) castle cake? Id just like to see a few cuz its been a while and (unfortunately) it is a part of Disney's history so I have to like it:lol:

Be happy if you got to see the cake in completion at all. When we were there, it had just been struck by lightning or something like that, and it had cranes around it 24/7 and all the candles were deflated and it just looked really bad.

We made a special trip to wdw for the 25th anniversary, and I have to say I think the castle looked fantastic, it was a really great idea as far as I am concerned.

Sure a bit tacky looking but you have to realize it's a FANTASY castle and they can do stuff like that.

Why? Because who would of thought of doing that! I mean, the entire castle re-worked...id go as far as to say it was a step short of brilliant...

yeah! same here! i thought it was a really nice touch! it made me remember the trip! and that it was the 25th anniversary!

Actually, I'm not sure. I'd have to dig thru our photo box. I know I didn't take any, I was only 10 at the time But I remember being so excited about seeing it, and then we get there and it looks like crap. I was just wondering what moron thought to put inflatable candles on it? Didn't they think of weather conditions or birds flying into it, or something? Needless to say, they were pretty much all completlt deflated when we were there. It was almost sad...

Although I liked the castle then, we came up with a name for the color they painted it:Pepto Bismol pink!!!

ahh cool! I've never seen it at a diff angle b4. I like the cake...sorta. It had a really good, original, festive (sp?) idea...But I guess, I like the normal one better
