24 hour Grocery???

We are staying off site for the fist time (impromptu Easter trip:) ) at the Lake Buena Vista Holiday Inn (great deal with Priceline :sohappy:). So, are any of the area grocery stores 24 hours (Goodings or Winn Dixie?) Or can anyone suggest anywhere else where we can pick up some breakfast basics late at night after the parks?

I lived in that area for five years while working at WDW. None of the grocery stores are open 24hrs. Publix and Winn dixie Close at 11:00. However, all of the Walmarts have full grocery stores inside. They are open 24hrs. There are two within about a 10-15min drive from where you are staying. I would go to the one on HWY27 at 192. It is easy to get too. Just take 192 west until it ends and merge onto HWY27 and it will be on your right.

Have fun

Have you looked into the Garden Grocer that delivers? I know they deliver to Disney resorts, I wonder if they deliver to off site as well? We tried this for the first time our last trip and will use it every time now. Saves time and is super convenient and easy!

I don't know for sure on that. Our order was definitely over. But it's easy enough getting to the 40. Some breakfast needs, case of water bottles, snacks, etc. It doesn't take much to get there. I used to help cut down on some of our packing as well and threw toiletries and stuff for the kids in too.

I've looked into Garden Grocer for other trips (we are DVC, but have enjoyed the magic too many times to stay on points this time;)). Because I'm kind of unfamiliar with the hotel, I don't want to count on the service. We are driving and depending on traffic our travel time could fluctuate. We figure picking up a few things at a store is our best bet. Thank you for the walmart tip...I was trying to figure out how close it would be!

Closer Walmart

While the Walmart on 192 & 27 is a good store, there is one on SR 535. It is just east of WDW. 535 runs from Lake Buena Vista right to this Walmart. Also 536 IIRC goes by EPCOT and crosses 535.

535 Walmart is the closest store to WDW, in fact Disney takes all their CP Cast members there to shop. There is a Hess station there as well as a Murphy USA gas station. It is maybe 10 to 15 min drive depending on traffic.

Fairly firm. But, their prices are a bit higher to begin with so you will hit it faster than you think. Another option is WeGoShop. They have a slightly higher service/delivery fee on small orders w/no minimum, but you pay what they paid in the grocery store. They will shop where ever you want them to and provide you with the receipt.

Do the grocery stores sell beer and wine??? They do in VA but i know some states they dont. We are using a car service and will stop for our free 30 shoping and beer and wine will be on this list...as long as we can get in the Public or what not.
