24 Hour Event in U.S.A Disney Parks on June 16, 2016?

As some of you know, I posted a thread asking about a 24 hour event this year. Well, earlier I found a site called Chip and Company. They posted an article about 2 months and a half ago: http://www.chipandco.com/is-disneys-24-hour-party-coming-june-2016-227516/

They are thinking that Disneyland and Disney World might have switched their 24 hour parties to June 2016 in honor of the Shanghai Disneyland Resort opening. On a Thursday? It's strange, but you never know. Your thoughts.

Your guess could be correct. I have no inside info but the odd day in June could go with the Shanghai opening. Shanghai time is 12 hours ahead of Florida. For example if we take 10 AM June 16 in Shanghai as a grand opening celebration start it would be 10 PM Wednesday June 15 in Florida. It could be to have a televised event of Shanghai for the news and promotion of the park opening while Iger and Company are on TV from WDW MK. Just a thought as you asked. Disney would hope for and get a crowd at the MK so the "random" blocked out day would make sense.

strangely...or maybe I'm over thinking it, Disneyland Today repeated this again however this time they said on their twitter to "keep a close eye on the disney parks blog," at the end of a response to someone.
