I would say Mexico as first choice, but then that is sooooo difficult, as I actually like America at this time of year just for the pumpkin spiced funnel cake!

Not to blow wind up your kilt, Hatter, but I'd have to go with Scotland (and I will on Friday). The salmon looks great, hearing rave reviews of the Veg haggis (and excited for when the real thing starts arriving in the US soon), scotch flights and Innis and Gunn. I could make a day of that. And can't forget the banoffee tart - even though it's Scottish origins are debatable.

Now the wife and daughter would definitely not support this limitation as they are set on Belgium and Australia (and I might force myself to do the beer flight in Belgium as well).

How about the Hops and Barley country ? It was our favorite... the lobster roll was better than the tail with more meat and better preparation.
