i listen to people cry & Mourn the loss of rides like they are their children!! This one especially! The ride did nothing for me, granted when i was a five year old it was cool, but the reality is that is was too costly (Operationally) of a ride that didn't cater to the new Disney audience. What 10 year old today knows the 20k story? But ask a 10 year old who Ariel is im sure they will know. This ride (for all the right reasons) is gone forever! No extensive theming in the queue area, no handicap acessability, too much $$$$ to maintain & it was just plain boring & not worthy of a 1-2 hour wait with no part of the wait being under A/C!!! Good riddence!! I hope the next horrible ride to go is the indy speedway! This can go away & I wouldn't shed 1/2 of a tear!! I hate waiting in line for this & my 4 y.o always wants to ride it!!
I just hope they replace 20k with something worthy of its valuable & Prime Fantasyland neighborhood Property Value!!

I remeber the good stuff that is gone too! I liked Mr. Toad but Think Pooh Is better suited for today's audience. World of motion was good too but Test Track Is Way Better!! Anyone Not happy with what replaced Horizons has got to be insane!!!! I thought The Tiki Room was good, But Now The New Story will Maintain my 4 y.o. attention & Create new memories for her. This is more important than my own memories anyday!!!

Respectfully Reply with any thoughts please, I would love to debate this & start a new thread!!

Sadly, I agree. They are big areas in my memory, but like he said, I was about 5. These rides wouldn't survive now.
