20K panorama + Other updates

Ran to the MK today and MGM (to pick up the passholder coin). The 20k lagoon is in fact mostly drained (as if there was any doubt).

Here is a bad panorama .

There are currently 5 construction walls at the MK. Stitch/ Enchanted Grove / 20k / Snow White / El Pirata.

It looks like they're about to resurface some more of the MK parking lots. There was alot of "asphalt laying" equipment towards the back of the Bashful parking lot.

Speaking of parking lot resurfacing, the lot that is closest to the MGM entrance (Stage) was closed because it was newly resurfaced.

Finally, I've noticed something going on across the road from Legendary Years, but I'm not sure what it is. I finally sort of got a picture of it.
What is this??

The "stuff" if I am right appears to be some sort of power station/grid going in

I suppose you're correct. It is however bad in the fact that there is alot of ghosting. I haven't quite mastered the art of close up panoramas hehe. Either that, or I need a new panorama program.

I agree, the mysterious thing does look like a power grid...and the pnorama isn't bad....it's quite good, actually

If I am looking at the same thing, it looks like those are just supports for more walls and such.

Yes, kudos on the panorama. Very cool. As for the San Francisco pic, I'm going to have to really inspect that portion of the park on my next visit. Just want to be sure they got the details right. Afterall, it's my backyard.:lol:

Funny thing is, that Chinatown section was based on the Chinatown in New York. lol.

Although it is a sad day that 20k is finally leaving, I'd rather have it out of the way, and perhaps widen that path a little.

Hey. Did they paint the lamps on the loading dock purple? Just something I noticed. They might have already done that but I just thought that I'd ask. Great Panorama! I can remember seeing a panorama of the lagoon a loooooooooong time ago when it was drained and I remember seeing such rich colors and bright spring type colors and look how sad and gray these colors are. Sad sad sad.

My theory is that Disney got rid of the skylift because they wanted to redo the entire park, then when they're done, they'll rebuild a newer, better SkyLift! Wishful thinking *sigh*:hammer: :brick: :lol:
