You have your opinion, I have mine. So let's just leave it at that.Oh easy there…that’s hard to make a definitive stance on. Things change.

Yeah, but what if we all have YouTube channels with a few thousand subs and we say "cringe" quite often?Anyone really seriously thinking there would be a new "Save Disney" campaign was just fooling themselves.
Sorry…not “you”…but that is a common thing we see. WDI fans talking about OLC stuff.I'm not sure who is giving a "pass", as its not me.
I wish more would be spent at the Domestic Parks, specifically DLR. But I understand the business nature of capital investments, it can't be 100% to Domestic Parks all the time, so it has to go in cycles and split across all their properties, again wholly owned or not.
KATHLEEN KENNEDY WILL BE FIRED FROM LUCASFILMYeah, but what if we all have YouTube channels with a few thousand subs and we say "cringe" quite often?
…what were the terms of that extension again?KATHLEEN KENNEDY WILL BE FIRED FROM LUCASFILM
....ya know.... any day now...
Well then we'd all be getting those sweet sweet tuber bucks.....Yeah, but what if we all have YouTube channels with a few thousand subs and we say "cringe" quite often?
Well obviously it would be nice to have the same design aspects that OLC gets out of WDI, but that is beside the point.Sorry…not “you”…but that is a common thing we see. WDI fans talking about OLC stuff.
Who cares?
To me…that is the Point. WDI Is treated more like a third party consultant…Instead of an asset to support what generates 45% of your revenue generationWell obviously it would be nice to have the same design aspects that OLC gets out of WDI, but that is beside the point.
Well they serve at the pleasure of their clients, in this case DPEP. So for better or worse they are technically consultants. To me…that is the Point. WDI Is treated more like a third party consultant…Instead of an asset to support what generates 45% of your revenue generation
anyone who thinks the disney board will oust bob chapek because he made a handful of fans mad is kidding themselvesBob still CEO?
“Parental Rights Bill”Or saying gay.
Aha....maybe not just the fans he has to worry about.Which isn't going to happen, there might be fan hate against Chapek but he actually is very business minded. So he isn't going to do something to completely damage the company beyond repair that it causes the stock to be affected long term, again despite what fans think.
Disney isn't getting out of this so easily.
I agree but that’s contrary to how American politics work, if you want political favors you gotta pay to play.Well, as to that bill...Disney can yell all it wants to, but the bill will probably get signed anyway. And bills like it will probably pass elsewhere. Disney doesn't have the political clout some think it does. It can do something about its own internal politics, but out there in the Real World, most voters don't care what Disney employees think. And voters are more important than anything else. That's the way it is.
Personally, I think Disney should stay out of politics altogether. Don't donate to ANY politician. Don't take a stand on ANY political subject. Just say "We're a family-oriented entertainment company, and we focus on one thing: entertainment." And that way, Disney could avoid stupid political land mines. JMHO.
