I'm not sure who is giving a "pass", as its not me.

I wish more would be spent at the Domestic Parks, specifically DLR. But I understand the business nature of capital investments, it can't be 100% to Domestic Parks all the time, so it has to go in cycles and split across all their properties, again wholly owned or not.
Sorry…not “you”…but that is a common thing we see. WDI fans talking about OLC stuff.

Who cares?

To me…that is the Point. WDI Is treated more like a third party consultant…Instead of an asset to support what generates 45% of your revenue generation
Well they serve at the pleasure of their clients, in this case DPEP. So for better or worse they are technically consultants.

Maybe the move to Lake Nona will help improve things, who knows.

Well, as to that bill...Disney can yell all it wants to, but the bill will probably get signed anyway. And bills like it will probably pass elsewhere. Disney doesn't have the political clout some think it does. It can do something about its own internal politics, but out there in the Real World, most voters don't care what Disney employees think. And voters are more important than anything else. That's the way it is.

Personally, I think Disney should stay out of politics altogether. Don't donate to ANY politician. Don't take a stand on ANY political subject. Just say "We're a family-oriented entertainment company, and we focus on one thing: entertainment." And that way, Disney could avoid stupid political land mines. JMHO.

It wasn’t that long ago One Million Moms was calling for a boycott of Disney because they had gay dads on a cartoon.

No matter what they do they’re going to make someone angry, those calling for Disney to exit politics may want to remember that about 90% of Disneys political donations go to Dems, you may be hurting your own cause.

I agree but that’s contrary to how American politics work, if you want political favors you gotta pay to play.
