Has anyone heard anything about ticket prices for 2018. They usually increase MID FEB but I haven't seen anything...all the ticket outlets are advertising, but say they are waiting for Disney!

Most websites are showing February 11(tomorrow) as the day of increase! I chatted with Undercovertourist and they said they STILL do not know anything! You would think that if its IS tomorrow, the ticket outlets would already know so they can get it programmed into their systems to change for tomorrow!
According to every website, 3 day ticket is increasing from $289 to $325...that's a $36.00 increase! I am hoping that all those sites are wrong! Disney usually announces the increase and there hasn't been any word from them...unless they know a lot of guests will be upset at how much the increase will be! Maybe that's why they aren't saying anything!!??

Disneyland and Walt Disney World raised prices as of February 11, 2018. Posted on Mousesavers.com, verified by VisitOlando.com
Regular Walt Disney World multi-day tickets expire, usually at the end of the year after you purchase them. Specifically, the first use of the ticket typically has to occur before December 31, and then they expire after 14 days (counting the first use day). If they expire and have never been used, you will still be able to get what you paid for them as a credit towards new tickets. Note that if buy tickets at last year’s prices from Undercover Tourist, tickets will generally have last year’s expiration date: December 31, 2018. Once Undercover Tourist starts selling tickets with the later expiration date, they will probably have to switch to the new price structure.

UPDATE: Disney World is reporting the increase as well!

As reported by Mousesavers.com
The other big news is that Walt Disney World announced that “later this year” they will be extending their tiered price structure to multi-day tickets! Currently you only have to worry about value, regular or peak dates when buying single-day tickets. But at some point this year, multi-day tickets will also be priced for different seasons. Exactly how that’s going to work is unknown right now, but it does mean if you have a Walt Disney World trip planned that includes any peak dates (Christmas, Spring Break, all holiday weekends, and fall/winter Saturdays), it’s a very good idea to buy tickets now before the tiers are implemented. Disney has always honored tickets at their previous terms, so any ticket you buy now will be valid on any day of the year until it expires

ound here

Ticket prices at Walt Disney World Orlando and Disneyland in California both have been increased for the coming season. The announcement was made by company officials on Sunday.

Beginning on Sunday, Magic Kingdom “value” days will cost $109 for an adult and $103 for children. That’s a $2 increase over ticket prices last year on “value” days.

During “regular” time, adults will pay $119 million and children will pay $113. That’s a $4 increase over last year.

“Peak” prices will be set at $129 for an adult and $123 for a child.

“Value” one-day tickets at Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and the Animal Kingdom will cost $102 for an adult and $96 for a child. That’s a $2 bump over last year. “Regular” times at these parks will cost $114 for an adult and $108 for a child. “Peak” tickets at these parks will run $122 for an adult and $116 for a child.

At Disneyland, the regular price of admission to the Anaheim park will be set at $117. That’s a $7 rise over last year. A single-day ticket during peak times will cost $135, which is an $11 increase over last year. The cost of a “value” ticket will remain the same at $97.

That's what a big big tax break and a great increase in profits this quarter gets the average American. Thanks Disney!

Disney has today increased its ticket prices for the Walt Disney World theme parks, and plans to sell date-specific tickets later this year.

The tiered ticket pricing continues, with pricing varying by date and park. At the gate, a one-day regular Magic Kingdom ticket will cost $119, a $4 increase. A value ticket will cost $109, a $2 increase, and a peak ticket will now cost $129, a $5 increase.

At the other three parks a one-day regular ticket is $114, a $7 increase. A value ticket will cost $102, a $3 increase, while a peak ticket is $122, a $3 increase.

All annual passes have also increased in price. For Florida residents, Platinum Pass is now $729, up from $679. A Gold Pass is now $589, up from $559, and for a Silver Pass, you'll pay $439, up from $419. You can view the full details at http://disneyworld.com/tickets.

Parking is also up to $22, a $2 increased and preferred parking climbs to $45, up from $40. Minnie Van service increases from $20 to $25.

Along with this round of price increases, Disney has also announced plans to sell date-specific multi-day tickets, although details are not yet available. The idea behind date-specific tickets is to help spread crowds throughout the year.

WOW, good thing I bought my one day tickets a few weeks ago. I'm really starting to wonder at what point families (and how many) will be priced out.

I hope when they pushed as far as they can they can get them back. There is a break point for everything it's always hard to read where and when it is.

Gosh I cannot believe another price raise.. in 1999 we paid $160.00 i believe for a 4 day park hopper.. August of 1999.. I don't know what type of percentage that is , its too bad that my take home pay didn't go up like that..

Do you think this will cover for the new areas when they open or will there be more increases?
I say when star wars opens that next increase will be one of the biggest we have seen. I just dont think they are even close to stopping. They will push it as far as they possibly can. As long as the gates are turning, they will push this to the highest they can.

It's a good thing. Thin the crowds down a tad.

It's just too crowded.

However, i still think attendance will go up and up and up - and the rate of expansion of new attractions will be slower and slower.
