When do they open up the system for reservations? Right know you can only book through December of this year. My sister and I are currently planning a trip for June 2015, which is a ways off, but i want to know when i should be ready to book. Anyone have any info?

You typically are able to start booking for the following year online mid summer. That's usually when the next years rates are released. If you want to, you can call disey by phone and place a deposit on a room only reservation. Once the new rates go into effect all u have to do is call back and add a package!

We are going to WDW in February of 2015. I contacted our TA about booking flights and resort stay. She said flights can be book about 10.5 months early. Disney usually releases the next years rates in June but some years it has been late July before they are out. She told use that we could either wait and book once the rates are released or just book a room now then add tickets, DDP and such later on.

So we are booking out flights and our room reservation in about 30 days.

They had them out by mid July last year. Flights on most airlines can be booked 11 months out from your travel dates. However unless you see something really cheap, I would wait on getting your air until you are right around 60-50 days prior. That seems to be the time frame when you can get a decent deal.

We are going at the end of April next year and will probably go into our local CAA office and book the room part of the trip when my wife gets her income tax return some time this month. We've always booked our trips a good year or more out, mainly because my brother and mother-in-law used to come with us and it gave us all a year to make payments on our reservations. We usually had ours paid off well in advance of the trip, but it helped them out considerably by being able to go in and make payments whenever they had some extra money.
