2014 Promotion... Any idea what it is?

But if its "disneybounding" which sounds utterly ridiculous- can we call it Disney-bonding from now on?- wouldn't that just promote shopping at places other than Disney to acquire Disney-esque costumes (but NOT costumes, because you can't wear those into the park unless you're 4!) and such?

It sounds good, sure. But once again, bending down to pick up pennies as dollars fly overhead if they go with that.
Wearing clip on Marie Ears or a Mickey baseball jersey is showing that Disney side. Make shoppers feel more comfortable in Disney gear all around. Disney car decorations. Disney desk swag at work. Lots of folks love Disney, but don't care so much to show it. This could be a great promotion to attempt to shift that culture a little bit. Both inside the parks on vacation, and then again back home. With a flood of ads heading into the holiday, this could be a great overall branding campaign that is very subtle in its synergy. Making Disney fans more confident in their Disney Side just like Apple fans are with their Apple Side is an incredible innovative angle. Especially if you incorporate Marvel and Disney into it with a flood of new movies and TV shows coming out. I know DVC owners that would NEVER wear a Disney shirt at home. Or drink out of a Disney mug at work. But if there is a campaign to make these folks more comfortable and more outgoing, could Disney expand their walking billboards by 3%? 5%? 10%?

If this is not a real campaign, it really should be. A solid year of promoting the "Disney mindset" could build an incredible amount of goodwill.

If you cannot tell, big picture, I love the Show Your Disney Side idea. Even if it is fake.

This is NOT the way to build a culture of acceptance. This is absolute design fail. Somebody should be put is a terrible place for these.
