I was waiting for a thread. One of the old LA palaces is screening the Oscars in Downtown, wish I could have gone.

Me, too! It's cute, simple, fun and I can appreciate that it at least received a nomination.
Jamie Foxx just entered the red carpet. But for Spidey fans like yours truly, he will be known only as 'Electro' over these next several months.

Ellen in the opening monologue said that Jennifer Lawrence tripped again this year when getting out of her car onto the red carpet. I hope this was just a joke. That poor sweet girl has bad luck walking in these things.

I'm just glad Jennifer has a good sense of humor & doesn't take herself too seriously. One of the many things I like about her.
Could you imagine if it were someone like Kristen Stewart who tripped? She'd have a blank look of no expression showing her disapproval of the situation (a.k.a. Nothing would change).
