Don't know how I missed it, but they announced the Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom card given out at the MNSSHP about a week and a half ago.

Just noticed they added a dessert party with Lady Tremaine and the villains to the event. At Cinderella's Royal Table.

What is this? A paid event inside a paid event? Just when I was getting used to all of their separately priced ticket ideas, they stretch the concept even further.

Yep. $99. I just re-edited my post to remove the description. Already added by another member.

Actually, it's getting ridiculous. I'm ready and willing to pay the separately priced ticket for the party itself, but then $99 to eat a few desserts and watch the parade from a "special viewing" area? You've got to be kidding. We're talking approx $160-$180/person for both the MNSSHP ticket and this thing. Maybe if they had an all-inclusive ticket for a $50 add on or something like that I might consider it.

I agree that this is getting a little crazy now. I am more than willing to pay for a hard ticket or special event if the price is right. Harambe nights for example...I would have paid for. But to pay for a hard ticket event, and then a paid event inside of a paid event? And for some desserts? No thank you. And if someone paid for a ticket to the park that day too....that's $99 + $70 + $99 for one day of entertainment.

Let's be serious - you'd have to be pretty dumb to buy park entry, then by MNSSHP entry in the same day...

I must know a lot of dumb people then. I have personally never done it. But I know lots of people who have and who act like I'm strange when I suggest that maybe they should save money and do something else during the day.

Iz a dumb one. I haz gone to Walt's Disneyworld before and I buyed tickets for how many days I am there, then I add in the Party ticket on top. I no so smart before.

I stopped attending MVMCP a few years ago as I feel it has completely fallen off the bad end of the value scale.

Hard ticket event within a hard ticket event? Only Disney could be so bold! :greedy:

Doesn't Universal offer an upcharge at their Halloween event for better access? That's pretty much what this is...an easier way to see all the villains without standing in lines. Plus desserts in a restaurant people probably couldn't get an ADR for and reserved viewing areas. People will pay this.

People have been paying for all these "premium experiences". That's why they announce a new one every single week.

I'm surprised even though I shouldn't be.... I know they love their "hard ticket" event but to have a up-charge within a up-charge is nuts.
I would love to meet the people that fork over cash for this... I just cant understand the mindset.

Rip off Disney strikes again... its one thing charging for front of line access... but charging $99 for a dessert party and viewing after forking out for tickets is sooooo ridiculous! Oh... i forgot a card with signatures on... makes it worth the money!
