2014 Christmas @ WDW

I have booked a vacation for my family for December 22-29, 2014 at the Port of Orleans- French Quarter Resort. First, any one have any comments about the resort? Second, are their any must-do activities while at WDW during Christmas week? Lastly, we have the dining plan so I'm trying to compile a list of special restaurants that may have speciality meals during this week. Does anyone have any recommendations for meals? Thanks!

Definitely spend time touring the Deluxe resorts. They have amazing Christmas decorations... giant gingerbread house at the GF, gingerbread carousel at the Boardwalk, and carriage rides at Fort Wilderness... ahhh christmas...

My favorite things during Xmas time

ALL of the deluxe resorts. I skipped the Swan before and it was one of my favorite displays.
The Holiday storytellers at Epcot
Osborne Lights
Castle Lighting at MK

As for dining, you are going during a VERY crowded time of year. I would pick my restaurants now and be online at my 180 day to make reservations.

Ohana's is our favorite!!! Also The Fantasmic Experience at Mama Melrose is AWESOME!!!!
