2013 St Jude Memphis Marathon, Half, 5K weekend Dec 7

Just putting it out there. The 2013 edition of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memphis Marathon, Half Marathon, and Memphis Grizzlies House 5K will take place on Dec. 7 this year.

Registration is sometime in March. Don't know the pricing but I have been told both marathon and half fill up pretty quick.

If any of you decide to run the full or half or 5K, let me know. My apartment is in the middle of all 3 race courses. Nice balcony overlooking St. Jude to the left of me and Beale Street to the right.

Memphis marathon weekend registration is nearly upon us.

In addition to the marathon, half marathon and 5K, there is the marathon relay, kids marathon, and the family fun run.

Registration information should be updated by March 15.

My wallet is going to take a hit or two. Registering for the Wine and Dine Half Tuesday and then the St. Jude half in the next few days.

St. Jude posted on their Facebook page that registration starts June 1. If you plan to fundraise for them, you can register starting May 1.

Registration for the 2013 St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend will open soon! Since the event supports St. Jude primarily through the St. Jude Heroes fundraising program, we're offering early registration for participants who choose to fundraise. Heroes registration will open May 1, and registration will open to the general public on June 1. Mark your calendars!

I registered Friday as a St. Jude Hero for the December half marathon. This will be my first half marathon run through downtown and midtown Memphis. I live 5 blocks from St. Jude. I can see the hospital from my apartment balcony.

Anyone on this board going to be running the race?
