Does anyone know when they plan on announcing the new promotion for 2012? I heard it mentioned on here that it may be a re-do of the volunteer promotion of a few years back, but to be honest, I'm hoping that's just a rumor. Something new and fresh would be much nicer

I have no idea, but just the other day I got an email from Disney saying they may use a picture I submitted to the 'Memories' site in a new "Let the Memories Begin" campaign. I think it would be a bit odd to start the work on a new piece so late in the year if it was only about to switch to something entirely different...so I'm thinking/wondering it might just remain-perhaps with a twist like they have done in the past.

Agreed. It gives them a slogan and it doesn't break the marketing budget right now. If they were to start something new, I wouldn't expect it until the end of the year (how they used to do it) when they start the big push for new fantasyland.
