Does anyone know what the theme for 2003 will be? When will the 100 year celebration end? Curious minds wanting to know. I'm also traveling to wdw in January.

100 Years of Magic is running through until December 31, 2002. 2003 will not have a specific "celebration", but has the opening of Mission Space, which I would take instead of a celebration any day! ;)

All I can tell you is that, Disney is changing the magical wishes and flex features and a lot of their package deals. Not sure what, mabye just the names, but they are changing.

It was mentioned above that Disney is changing some of the magical wishes and flex features for 2003. I'm planning a trip for 8 adults in March and we're staying in a vacation home off property, so this won't affect us. My question is if anyone has heard if Disney is planning on increasing their park admission rates in 2003. Everything I've seen pretty much says that they'll stay where they are thru 2002.

Should we try and buy our Park Hoppers online or at the Disney Store now or wait until we're closer to the date?

there should be no new celebrations until 2006 (thank god... 2 back to back celebrations? thank god this one is almost over.. i'm not a fan of this one) which will most likely be the 35th of WDW

They spent way toooo much cash making that parade. It's gonna be here for at least a few more years.

I can definitely see ToD getting the boot once the celebration is over though

There are also rumors of the Motorcade parade getting canned next year as well (which would be wonderful, because the Motorcade is awful). Evidently WDW management was impressed by the new parade at Disney Studios Paris.

But Philharmagic hasn't been in construction for over a year and wasn't announced 2 years ago.

Thats true, I'm one of those people who've waited that long, and I'm sure you are too, right? :) Philamagic is more like a side dish, but its better then nothing (after riding M:S to death, of course!) :)

We also forgot about Pop Century Resort.

I forgot about that, too! When does that open? I believe it was supposed to open Winter 2001 or Spring 2002(correct me if I'm wrong).

The proposed date is March 2003 or is it May 2003. Lets just say Spring 2003.
